Sustainability through Tourism – sustainable tourism has enormous potential and can contribute to the conservation of cultural and natural resources, revitalisation of authenticity, generation of employment, alleviation of poverty and the well-being of local communities. The challenge is to convert those assets into competitive, marketable products in ways that maximize social and economic benefits, and minimize potential negative impacts.

Sustainable tourism – professionally developed can turn into a driving force for the development for an entire region.

Barbara Fritz, Executive Director AGEG Tourism for Sustainability

Development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
